Our setup for bridge and power line inspections. The same configuration runs at 40 sites across Japan, and all maintenance records are collected here.

Configurations

  • bridge-underside shoots the underside of girders with an upward gimbal
  • powerline uses a modified compass calibration procedure for strong electromagnetic fields

Maintenance rules

  1. Replace propellers every 50 flights
  2. Retire batteries at 200 cycles
  3. Always open a maintenance issue for any anomaly
